Description
The SMG2440 series Industrial grade Layer 2 Managed Ethernet Switch comes with 24*10/100/1000Mbps RJ45 and 4*1/2.5GBase-X SFP ports. The PoE version provides PoE as Power Sourcing Equipment (PSE) up to 30W per port (total 370W). Smart PoE management allows user to remotely reboot ports and enable PoE watchdog – auto reboot of not responding PoE devices. With in-built Ethernet extender function, signals on copper ports can be transmitted & received up to 250meters from remote devices, at the same time supplying PoE power. Ethernet Ring Protection Switching (ERPS) grants ultra fast recovery time of less than 50ms. Powerful Layer 2 management and security functions ensures suitability for large scale industrial network projects. Housed in rugged metal 19” Rack mountable case, no fan design with extreme temperatures operation, makes those Industrial grade Layer 2 Managed Ethernet Switches a perfect choice for critical environments, such as security, transportation, airports, industrial networking or even military applications.
